Kharchen Trülku Rinpoche’s Lineage
As a child, Rinpoche frequently experienced dreams and visions. Travelling in Tibet, visiting holy places, visiting his monastery, seeing Khandro Yeshe Tsogyel and feeling vitally connected to her.
Externally, Rinpoche holds the Drukpa Kagyüd Lineage.
His inner Lineage is the Nyingma tradition from Gangteng Rinpoche who taught him Pé-ling, Pema Lingpa’s Lineage.
His main Lineage, his secret Lineage, is Nyinthig. This is Guru Rinpoche’s Lineage.
Nyingthig means ‘Heart essence’. Whether we practice Mahayana or Vajrayana – Nyingthig is the main lineage, it is the most essential Lineage. Everyone follows this; especially Ngakpas. Sometimes it is called Nyingthig Yangthig. The secret of secrets. The most secret essence; pith advice.
Most of the lineages Rinpoche holds he has received in vision, dag-nang.
